DeciWOS is a tool to assist production planners schedule work orders. It matches work orders against available inventory and other contraints to determine when work orders can be produced. It can also determine split work order when there is insufficient inventory.
Some of the key features of DeciWOS include:
- Web services interface to pull data from ERP systems.
- Authenticated access that allows only designated planners to manage work orders allocated to them.
- Makes use of default and alternative BOM, substitutes and alternates.
- Takes inventory, purchases and expiry dates into account to determine available stock.
- Ability to split orders.
